What is it all about? 


Coventry City Council have secured funding from the Home Upgrade Grant Scheme, which allows EE Homes, as a delivery partner, to improve the energy efficiency of rental properties across the city, at no cost to the homeowner. 


You’ll need to check if the Tenant or property is eligible.

To qualify for this scheme you'll need to:

  • Privately rent or own your property. 


  • Use oil, LPG, electricity, an old gas fire or boiler (over 18 years old) or another form of fuel to heat it


  • Have an EPC rating of D, E, F or G

Tennant Requirements

  • Have a combined gross household income of below £31,000 per annum OR anyone in the property has any of the following health issues- respiratory disease, cardiovascular condition, immunosuppression, or limited mobility. 


  • Receives benefits.

*Please note that some benefits do not count towards the income threshold, these are disability Living Allowance (DLA) and Personal Independence Payment (PIP)
